The Robert Adam Gallery at Devon Sculpture Park is a private gallery that exhibits select artworks from the Letts family collection. This salon gallery spans two of the private rooms at the historic Robert Adam Orangery, including the extraordinary 35 foot high domed room, plus two stone sculpture terraces that overlook the sea.
The environmental artists that are shown here are typically mid or late career and are collected nationally or internationally. They have a number of significant artworks at Devon Sculpture Park. We believe that their work is important and that they are positioned to become further recognised as the environmental art movement becomes more pervasive.
We are excited about environmental art and environmentally conscious artists. Climate change is the defining issue of our time and we believe that artists will rise to that challenge and produce contemporary art across all media that adds to the debate and challenges our collective thinking. As a park that is focused on environmental issues and environmental art we are well positioned to recognise and support the significant art and artists that are emerging from this genre.
