Devon Sculpture Park has just opened its second indoor gallery, the Robert Adam Gallery. This stunning 500 year old bath stone building was extended and improved by Robert Adam around 270 years ago. Today it hosts the Robert Adam Gallery inside and on the terraces overlooking the sea and Capability Brown gardens.
This Paris salon-style gallery shows a mix of contemporary artists in two beautiful indoor rooms, including the extraordinary 35ft high dome room, and on two large Terraces outside. Here visitors enjoy contemporary art in an intimate and relaxed setting.
At opening you could find art from Tracey Emin, Chris Speyer, Teresa Wells, Bev Knowlden, Colin Porter, James Portsmouth and Philip Letts. The art changes every few months and select artworks are for sale.
You can even enjoy home made lunch or tea, coffee and cakes, including gluten free, inside the Robert Adam Gallery year round or out in the sun drenched terraces when the weather is fine.
We also hosts live music and other cultural events in the Robert Adam Gallery.
Devon Sculpture Park is open all year from Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm. Adult £12, children under 12 £6. Half price repeat visits with DSP Card.
